Finally, Andrew And Millie Share A Bed, And Andrew Kicks Nina Out Of The Home.
After Some Time, Andrew Goes Back To Millie, Who Is Now Trapped In The Attic, And Gives Her A Three-hour Penalty For Not Replacing The Books She Read: She Must Balance The Heavy Volumes On Her Stomach. When She Misses The Mark By A Minute The First Time, He Has Her Repeat The Exercise; However, When He Opens The Door, Millie Pepper-sprays Him With A Bottle Nina Placed For Her In The Room, Takes Andrew’s Phone, And Then Flips The Script, Locking Him In And Tormenting Him In A Similar Manner.
Enzo Contacts Nina And Demands That They Return To Help Since He Has Been Keeping Watch Over The Home And Is Concerned That Millie Hasn’t Left The House In Days. As Nina Comes Home, The House Is Deserted. Thinking Millie Is Stuck Upstairs, She Opens The Door To Provide Assistance And Discovers Andrew’s Decaying Corpse. When Millie Shows There, She Admits To Keeping Andrew Inside For Over Six Days. She Starts To Weep Because She Fears Spending The Rest Of Her Life In Jail. Nina Urges Millie To Go Because She Doesn’t Want To Make Her Pay For What She Coerced Millie Into Doing.

Evelyn Winchester, Andrew’s Mother, Tells Nina At Andrew’s Wake That She Punished Andrew As A Young Kid In A Similar Way To How Andrew Tormented Nina. She Commends Nina For Taking The Initiative To Correct Andrew In This Manner, And Then She Leaves.
One Of Those Books—”The Housemaid” By Freida Mcfadden—is One That I Would Praise And Suggest To Everyone Looking For A Fantastic Thriller For Years To Come. One That’s Cleverly Woven Together Mystery, Psychological Fear, And Other Elements. This Is Undoubtedly One Of The Finest Books Of 2022 Because To Mcfadden’s Superb Writing Style And All The Characters I Adored.
You’ll Probably Find Yourself Reading Late Into The Night Since It Is A Book That Is So Difficult To Put Down And Is A True Page-turner. I Enjoyed All The Minor Surprises That Were Sprinkled Throughout An Amazing Narrative. This Book Flips Your World Upside Down Just When You Think You Have It Figured Out.
You Need Not Fear; I Won’t Give Anything Away Or Give Anything Away, But I Think You Should Read This Book. I Enjoyed All The New York Allusions Since I’m From New York And It Seemed So Familiar, In Addition To The Amazing Pace. Looking Back, I Can’t Even Begin To Count The Number Of Genuine Jaw-dropping Moments I Had While Reading This Book, Which Utterly Blew My Mind.
The Conclusion Was Really Fulfilling And Just Not What I Was Expecting At All! It Would Be An Understatement To Say That It Was A Drop-the-mic Moment. This Was A Crazy, Crazy, Exciting, Thriller That Had Me On The Tip Of My Seat. I Wish Every Book I Read Was As Enjoyable To Read As This One Was!
I Rate Freida Mcfadden’s “The Housemaid” A Flawless 5/5 Since It Is A Masterpiece. I’ve Read A Lot Of Books In My Life, But This One Stands Out As One Of The Most Memorable And Will Always Be Special To Me. This Book Was Exceptional, Thrilling, And Had All The Elements Of A Thriller Plus More. I Can Honestly Say That Mcfadden Has Gained A New Reader In Me Since It Is A Rollercoaster Of A Book From Beginning To End. I’ve Only Read This One Book By Her, But I’m Eager To Read Any Other Books She Writes In The Future. She Is A Fantastic Writer With A Really Imaginative And Gifted Mind!
3.5 Stars — In Search Of A Page-turner That Didn’t Need Too Much Thought, I Chose To Read Another Novel By Freida Mcfadden. I Chose To Attempt “The Housemaid” Since It Had Received So Many Positive Ratings. I Was Fascinated On The Book Right Away Because To A Strong Opening. It Depicts The Tale Of Millie, A Recently Released Prisoner Who Is Jobless And Destitute. She Thinks She Has Landed Her Ideal Job When Nina And Andrew Employ Her As A Live-in Housemaid/nanny. She Quickly Learns, However, That Nina Is An Extremely Challenging Boss To Work For (Similar To Meryl Streep In “The Devil Wears Prada”). The Conversations Between Millie And Nina And Her Family Were Particularly Fun To See. Up Until The Last 30 Or So Pages Of The Book, I Was Firmly In The 4.5 To 5 Star Zone. I Won’t Give Anything Away, But To Say That The Acts Of The Police, Enzo, Millie, And Nina Were Absurd Would Be An Understatement Of The Magnitude Of How Poorly This Book Concluded. I Don’t Recall Ever Screaming “No,” “Come On,” And “Really” While Reading A Book. (Yeah, I’m Odd.) But Given The Colossal Narrative Failure That Left Me Scratching My Head, I Had No Option. I Still Liked The Book Even After Taking Away A Whole Star, And I’ll Have To Read The Sequel To Find Out Whether Mcfadden Can Recapture The Form That Had Me On The Edge Of My Seat For The First 90% Of The Book.
The Housemaid By Freida Mcfadden Centres On Millie, A Parolee Who Was Only Just Freed And Is Now Experiencing Homelessness And Unemployment. Millie Believes She Has Finally Landed Her Dream Job After Being Employed As A Live-in Housemaid And Nanny By Nina And Andrew. Yet She Quickly Understands That She Has Gotten Herself Into An Odd And Maybe Dangerous Scenario.
You’ll Find Yourself Reading Late Into The Night Because You Won’t Be Able To Put This Book Down. It’s Packed With Minute Details That Enrich The Amazing Plot, And Just When You Think You Understand It, The Book Flips Your Assumptions On Their Heads. For Those Who Have The Time, It’s Simple To Finish This Book In One Sitting Since “One More Chapter” Quickly Turns Into Hours Of Reading.
An Outstanding Psychological Thriller With Well-developed Characters Has Been Created By Freida. It Makes For An Engaging Read Since The Two Narrative Points Of View, Millie And Nina, Are Exceptionally Well-captured.

The Story
When Millie Is Employed As The Maid For The Winchesters, An Absurdly Affluent Family, She Is Already Living In Casa Nissan, Her Automobile. She’s Thrilled To Have A Job And A Bed, But She Soon Notices That Something Strange Is Going On In The House. Dun Dun Dunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn…
What I Think
Sincerably, I’m Lost. This Is How I Felt After Finishing Samantha Hayes’ The Captive Wife. This Was Garbage On The One Hand, But It Also Included Certain Elements That Kept Me Reading And Having Fun. It’s A Novel That I Both Adore And Despise. Let Me Now Attempt To Organise My Thoughts:
I Didn’t Care For Nina. She Was Excessive, Egotistical, And Irrational. I’m Unable To Feel Sorry For Her Given What She Through Because… No Spoilers, But You’ll Know If You Read It.
As It’s Women’s History Month, I Can Just Mention That I Awarded The Finale 5/5 Without Giving Anything Away.
I Can Picture People Either Immensely Like Or Terribly Disliking This. Do Not Anticipate A Literary Masterpiece From This. You Won’t Have Any Cerebral Stimulation At All. Because To The Dark Humour, This Typical Popcorn Thriller Isn’t As Tiresome As Unmissing, Remain Awake, Etc. Once My Dark Vanessa Rips Your Heart Out And Tramples All Over It, You Read A Novel Like This.
