What Caused His Capture? Join Us On This Thrilling And Informative Voyage As We Board The Boat Of Om Shastri’s Secrets, Prithvi’s Chase, And The Exploits Of Other Mysterious Immortals Of Hindu Mythology.
I’ve Finally Discovered A Novel In The Contemporary Mythic Thriller Subgenre After A Lengthy Search. As Far As I Can Remember, It’s Been A While Since I Last Read A Work That Combined Elements Of Mythology Fiction, Action Thriller, And Science Fiction. My Expectations Were Fairly High, So I Settled In For A Wild Trip And Began Reading The Hidden Hindu By Akshat Gupta. Continue Reading To Learn More About The Book And My Reading Experience.
Everything Appears To Work Pretty Well, From The Cover Photo And Background Graphics To The Strong Text And Blurb At The Back To The Overt Endorsement From Luminaries Like Anand Neelakantan And Ravi Subramanian. So Far As Initial Impressions Go, The Hidden Hindu Makes A Rather Strong One.
The Book Can Be Readily Read By A Beginner-level Reader Because Of The Language’s Amazing Simplicity. That Said, It Will Be A Joy For Readers Of All Levels, From Newcomers To Ravenous Readers.
A Little Previous Knowledge, However, May Be Useful Since Itihaasa And Aspects From The Hindu Puranic World Are Weaved Throughout The Work.
The Book’s Strong Beginning Is One Of Its Greatest Features. A Concerned Elderly Woman And Prithvi, A 20-year-old Guy, Are Talking In The Opening Scene Of 2041. A Horrible And Incredible Event That Happened In The Past Defies All Logic And Reason And Altered The Trajectory Of Their Lives Irrevocably.
A Highly Secret Operation Is Then In Progress When We Are Transported To A Distant Research Site In The Andaman Islands. The Reader Is Fascinated Throughout As The Narrative Soon Becomes More Complex.
The Aghori Om Shastri, A Fascinating But Eccentric Individual Who Claims To Have Lived For Thousands Of Years And To Have Seen All Four Yugas, Including The Events Of The Ramayana And The Mahabharata, Is The Major Focus Of Book One Of The Trilogy.
After Following Him For More Than 200 Years, It Is Determined To Apprehend And Question The Enigmatic Guy. These Astounding Realities Are Discovered During The Clandestine Interrogations.
Everyone Is Startled And Bewildered By The Fact That Every Lie-detection Method And Instrument Available Today Misses Every Untruth In Om’s Tale.
Om Has The Peculiar Tendency Of Performing The Most Remarkable Things That Aren’t Humanly Feasible, Which Furthers The Mystery Given His Incredible Power And Razor-sharp Intuition.
So, Who Is Om And How Can He Do Such Seemingly Unachievable Tasks?
Who Is Running This Ultra-secret Programme, And What Is The Goal?
What Further Information Is Still Awaiting Discovery?
The Fundamental Notion Of Mortality As We Now Understand It Is Called Into Question By Om Shastri’s Narrative.
The Hidden Hindu’s Ability To Masterfully Weave Together Legendary Events From Thousands Of Years Ago With Historical Events And Events From More Recent History Is One Of Its Biggest Pluses. There Are Connections Between Subhash Chandra Bose And Contemporary Historical Personalities Like Sushen, Lakshman, And Vidur From Puranic Stories.
The Notion Of The Seven Chiranjeevis In The Hindu Cosmology, Which Has Been Weaved Into The Framework Of The Modern World, Is A Significant Emphasis Of The Book. This Creates A Fascinating Connection Between Ancient, Mediaeval, And Contemporary India.
Despite The Fact That A Significant Portion Of The Book Is About Om’s Questioning, The Pace And Themes Are Continually Introduced And Then Mixed To Provide The Strongest Possible Effect.
A Significant Amount Of Research Has Gone Into The Text. The Reader Will Undoubtedly Be Captivated By The Correlations Made Between Itihaasa, History, Mathematics, Science, And Ancient Wisdom.
Another Aspect Of The Novel That Stands Out Is The Character Descriptions And Arcs. There Is A Deeper Level Of Intrigue With Each Persona. The Tempo Is A Tad Erratic. Fast, Then Medium, And Then Fast Once Again. Apart From That, Though, Every Element Of The Book Justifies Calling It A “Must Read.”
As For Me, I Can’t Wait To Start Reading The Second Book In The Trilogy.

Religion, Mysticism, Mythology In Relation To The Modern World, An Imaginary World, Or An Imaginary World Beyond Ours. The Om Shashtri Universe Is Fascinating And Interestingly Complex.
It Is Said In The Author’s Words That “On The Very First Page Of The Book, Anand Sir Has Quoted That- An Unputdownable Work Where Timeless Hindu Mythology Meets Science Fiction.” The Book Is Undoubtedly The Ideal Choice For Anybody Looking For Mythology With A Dash Of Science Fiction.
Speaking About The Story’s Plot, 21-year-old Prithvi Is Looking For A Mysterious Middle-aged Aghori Named Om Shashtri Who Was Captured And Taken To A Cutting-edge Facility On A Remote Indian Island. The Aghori Claimed To Have Seen All Four Yugas (The Hindu Epochs) And Taken Part In Both The Ramayana And The Mahabharta When He Was Drugged And Hypnotised For Questioning By A Team Of Experts.
Everyone Was Perplexed By Om’s Revelations About His Extraordinary Past, Which Defied The Laws Of Mortality. Om Was Looking For Other Immortals From Every Yuga, The Team Learned. If These Strange Secrets Were Made Public, They Might Shake Up Ancient Beliefs And Change The Future’s Path. What About Om Shashtri? How Did He Get Captured? What Makes Prithvi Seek Him Out? You Must Read This Book In Order To Discover The Solutions To These Questions.
The Hidden Hindu By Akshat Gupta Is The Perfect Fit For You If You Are Willing To Accept Science Fiction Stirred With Indian Mythology.
Regarding The Author: Despite Being A Third-generation Hotelier And Not Being Much Of A Reader As A Child, Akshat Gupta Admits That Writing Has Been A Comfort During The Most Trying Times. He Has Written Five Film Scripts And Is The Author Of The Upcoming Book “The Hidden Hindu,” The First Of A Trilogy That Will Be Published Simultaneously In English (Penguin Random House India) And Hindi.
According To Gupta, The First Indian Author To Provide The Visual Rights (To Dhoni Entertainment) Of A Trilogy Before The Launch And Release Of The Book, “A Personal Event In 2014 Shattered Me Completely And Writing Gave Me Solace.”
In About Two Days, I Finished Reading It All. I Continued Reading While Travelling Through Time, Staying In The Present, And Attempting To Predict The Future. I Would Like To Say To Those Who Are Looking Forward To A Good Read: Ever Wondered What It Feels Like To Be Living The Past, Knowing More And More About It, And Then Smoking Off The Fog To See What Lies In The Future. If You Don’t Know, Meet Om Shastri, The Central Character In “The Hidden Hindu” Story. Om Is, In My Opinion, A Man Of Mysteries With A Pure Heart. A Man Who Is Home In The World, But Who Is Alone In His Search To Uncover What Is Being Hiding. People Only See In Him A Reflection Of Their Preconceived Notions; Nevertheless, No One Is Able To See What Is Beyond Him. A Book Like “The Hidden Hindu” Completely Draws You In, Makes You Fall In Love With The Characters, And Requires You To Sit On The Edge Of Your Seat During Every Nail-biting Moment. It Is Mythology, Science Fiction, And A Mission With A Goal. It Almost Seems As If You Are Walking Beside Om Like A Shadow, Reliving His World After A Series Of Events Since The World-building Is So Innovative And Intricately Done. What’s Amazing About This Book Is The Combination Of History And Mythology Interwoven With Science, And Exploring The Mythical Extents. It Often Switches Between The Present And The Past And Vice Versa, Which Is Quite Intriguing. The Author, Akshat Gupta, Put A Lot Of Effort Into Every Aspect And Has Excellent Control Over The Narrative, Showcasing His Illustration Style. His Flawless Writing Abilities And Expressive Style Provide That Much-needed Element To Om Shastri’s Journey. Former Indian Cricket Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni And His Wife Sakshi Are Planning To Adapt The Book Into A Television Series. And I’m Certain It Will Be Enjoyable To Watch, So Please Do Your Best To Stay Focused On The Whole Series.
Reincarnation, Often Known As Rebirth And Immortality, Fascinates Me Much. They Provide A Platform For Not Just The Most Imaginative Plots To Be Thrown Into The Writing Canvas, But The Best Part About Them Is That They Are Accommodating Enough To Include Details Which Are Interesting For Readers To Go Into.
Having Read Akshat Gupta’s The Hidden Hindu Recently, I Was Pleasantly Surprised To See How Mythology And Science, As Well As Theories About Immortality, Might Be Combined In Such A Creative And Refreshing Way. Together, Science And Mythology Make For One Of The Most Fascinating Subject Combinations, In My Opinion, And Akshat Has Made Sure That Not Only Is Justice Done To The Story, But Also That All Of The Characters Have Been Shown As Accurately As Possible To What They Promise To Represent.
This Is An Exciting Story That Follows Prithvi’s Quest To Learn The Truth About Om Shastri, The Aghori Who Claims To Have Lived Long Enough To Have Seen All Four Epochs Of Hinduism, Or The Four Yugas. Om Shastri: Who Is He? Has This Mysterious Character Really Been Around For As Long As He Says He Has? To Get The Answers To These Spell-binding Questions, Read The Book.
I’ve Always Found The Idea Of Immortality, Or Aghoris, Fascinating. I Believe That It’s Particularly Interesting To Learn About Aghoris, Who Are Said To Be People Of Their Own Space And Time. Reading About Their Journey, Which Is Both Strange And Terrifying In Equal Measure, Is Quite Captivating. It Was Wonderful To See This Viewpoint Incorporated Into The Plot, Giving It A Kind Of Science Fiction Feel.
I Found Prithvi’s Character To Be Equally Mysterious. He Is 21 Years Old And Recalls Everything That Happened Before He Was Born. Not Just Prithvi’s Character, But Every Single Character In The Book, Has Been Meticulously Crafted By Akshat With A Perspective That Soars Beyond Its Contemporaries, Unrestricted And Limitless, Reaching New Paradigms And Suppositions That Make For An Imaginative And Indulgent Read.
Reading Historical Mythologies With A Scientific Slant, Where The Very Continuities Of Space And Time Seem To Be Challenging One’s Ability To Reason Logically, Was Interesting. For Example, Realistically Speaking, Is It Possible To Live More Than 1000 Years And Yet Not Have Seen All That Requires Countless Lifetimes? Sounds Fantastical And Far-fetched, Right? However, Such Is Not The Case In This Book, As The Reader Is Slowly But Surely Led To Believe That What They Are Reading Really Happened Somewhere.
One May Argue That Akshat Used Several Elements To Produce A Typical Work Of Contemporary Fiction With An Arrogant Air And A Hospitable Kind Of Tone. I’ll Be The First To Disagree Here, However, As I Believe It Is Difficult To Combine Such Elements, Especially In Such A Precise Manner, Making Sure That All Elements, Whether Mythology, History, Or Even The Scientific Component, Have Been Acknowledged, And That, In The End, The Story And The Characters, Rather Than Any Specific Plot Or Sub-genre, Are The Heroes Of The Entire Ensemble. This, In My Opinion, Is The Author’s Winning Point In Expanding The Scope Of The Story Beyond Anything Previously Imagined. In Order For The Story, The Characters, Their Trysts, And The Eventual Outcome To Stick With You After You’ve Finished Reading It Rather Than Other Trivialities Like Its Genre And Other Minor Details.
