Each Undergraduate Programme Has Unique Goals And Learning Outcomes. These Goals And Results Are Provided By Taking Into Account Different Elements And Effects Of The Curriculum. These Program Outcomes (Pos) Are Listed Under Specific Categories At The Start Of The Curriculum (Ref: Nba Manual).
A Course Should Always Have A Purpose And A Justification For Being Included In The Curriculum. Although The Course’s Outcomes Heavily Depend On Its Content, They Often Are Generic And Bundled. The Justification For Taking The Course Is Provided By The Course Objectives, Course Outcomes, And Co-po Mappings Matrix. The Course Outcomes, Objectives, And Co-po Mapping Matrix Are Provided Just As A Guide And Are Only Indicative. The Course Instructor May Change Them According To His Or Her Viewpoint.
Course Outcomes And Programme Outcomes Mapping Matrix – The Matrix Of Expected Attainment Indicates The Correlation Levels Of 3, 2, 1 And ‘-‘ At The End Of The Course Contents. The Numbers 3, 2, And 1 Stand For Significantly (High), Moderately (Medium), And Barely (Low). There Is No Correlation Between The Respective Co And Po, As Shown By The Mark “-.”
For Each Course, The Content Is Divided Into Six Units: I, Ii, Iii, Iv, V, And Vi. These Are Elaborated Examples And Case Studies. At The Conclusion Of Each Unit, Detailed Case Studies And Examples Are Provided To Show How The Material Was Applied In Real-world Contexts. Students Must Create A Flowchart, Algorithm, Test Cases, Mathematical Model, Test Data Set, And Comparative/complexity Analysis For Each Laboratory Assignment (As Applicable). Batch Sizes For Tutorials And Practicals May Vary Depending On Authority Guidelines.
The Instructor Should Encourage Students To Read And Publish Articles And Research Papers Related To Recent Developments And Inventions In The Field For Each Course, Regardless Of The Examination Head.
Term Work Is A Kind Of Ongoing Assessment That Gauges A Student’s Development Over The Course Of A Semester. The Standards That Must Be Met And The Evidence That Will Be Gathered To Prove That The Course Outcomes Were Achieved Are Specified In The Term Work Assessment Criteria. Unambiguous Standards Of Achievement For Each Course Outcome Should Be Established By Categorical Assessment Criteria For The Term Work. More Emphasis Should Be Placed On Simplifying The Complexities That Converge To A Clear Understanding And Application During Tutorials. Examining Tutorial Work Should Be Done Similarly To Grading Term Papers; Adhere To The Same Rules.
As Long As The Student Meets The Minimum Attendance Requirements Set By The Savitribai Phule Pune University, Performs Satisfactorily, And Earns A Passing Grade In That Audit Course, They Will Be Given The Grade Ap/pp (Audit Course Pass), Which Will Also Be Included In The Semester Grade Report For That Course. This “Ap” Or “Pp” Grade Carries No Grade Points, Therefore Performance In These Courses Is Not Taken Into Account When Calculating The Sgp And Cgp Performance Indices. Audit Course Evaluation Will Be Completed At The Institute Level.
