This Cookbook Is A Piece Of Art In Itself. The Book Itself Is Lovely, With Illustrations That Inspire You To Go In The Kitchen And Make It A Lovely Present. To Meet All Of Your Taco Demands, The Recipes Are Divided Into Sections Such As Seafood, Salsas, And Breakfast. And They’re Supposed To Be Approachable While Maintaining Real Quality From A Chef Who Understands What She’s Doing. I’ve Already Purchased Numerous Books And Will Do So Again!
This Is The Size Of The Picture In The Kindle Edition; You Must Zoom In To See The Instructions And Ingredients, Then Zoom Out! That Is My Only Criticism; The Food Seems To Be Great, And The Photographs Are Clear And Bright.
This Book Is Brimming With Vivid Tacos That We All Want To Create. When You Attempt To Go To A Certain Page In The Book, The Kindle Edition Is Double-pushed, And Each Of Those Doubles Equals One Page. Very Irritating And Unsuitable For E-books. I Bought It On The Kindle Sale Of The Day And Plan To Keep It For That Price. It’s A Shame Since This Seems To Be A Fantastic Addition To The Taco Cookbook Collection.
When I Originally Received The Book, I Set Out To Try The First Recipe, Which Was For Flour Tortillas. Did I Enjoy Them? No. But Hold On. There’s This Issue About Authenticity Vs. Personal Preference. This Was Her Mother’s Recipe, And It Was Completely Real And Legitimate. Simply Not My Cup Of Tea When It Comes To Wheat Tortillas. Due Of The Milk And Butter, Very Little Gluten Is Formed, Resulting In An Extremely Soft Flour Tortilla With Minimal “Crunch.” It Has A More Melt-in-your-mouth Quality. And My Personal Preference Is For A Tortilla That Is Somewhat Less Greasy, With No Grease Stains. Having Said That, This Is A Good Recipe For The Kind Of Tortilla. And The Weights And Directions Are Fantastic. Therefore I’m Sure Victoria Did An Excellent Job Weighing And Testing The Other Recipes. To Be Continued.
I’ll Keep You Updated As I Try New Recipes. Tex-mex In All Of Its Incarnations Is Very Significant To Me. I’ve Even Built A Website To Archive Tex Mex Antique And Retro Menus And Artefacts From The Early 1900s Through The 1970s. It’s My True Love.

This Cookbook Is Fantastic. The Photographs Are Stunning, And The Material Is Quite Useful And Educational. So Many Delectable Dishes! 10/10 Would Recommend!
The Kindle Version Is Completely Useless. It’s As If Someone Photographed The Paper Edition And Turned It Into A Kindle Book. It Has Two Pages Per Screen, And As You Zoom In, The Text Becomes Unintelligible Since It Is Just Magnifying An Image Of The Text Rather Than Altering The Point Size. Everything Is So Little On A Two-page Screen That You Can’t See Anything. Of Course, The Kindle Sees Everything As Images Rather Than Text, So You Can’t Mark Text, Flip Through The Book, Or Do Anything Else.
I Was About To Purchase It, But The Kindle Edition Is A Farce. It’s 2023. How Can A Book Publisher Not Understand How To Create A Kindle Book? Self-publishing Books By Independent Authors Is A Breeze. The Book Sounded Great, But If You Want It On Kindle, Forget It. On Kindle, This Appears To Be One Of Those Pdf Images Of An 1890s Book, Rather Than Something Published A Few Months Ago.

But, Although Houston Is A City Brimming With International Ingredients, Elizondo Recognises That This Isn’t The Case Everywhere, And The Publishing Company Wanted The Book To Appeal To The Average Home Cook, Whether She’s A Suburban Soccer Mum In Michigan Or An Urban Professional In London. “They Wanted The Book To Appeal To A Wide Range Of Individuals,” Elizondo Explains. “They Wanted The Recipes To Be Simple To Produce, And The Materials To Be Readily Available.”
