The Characters Are All Quite Well Done, And It’s Fascinating To See How The House Affects Their Personalities And Interpersonal Relationships Both Directly And Indirectly. Will Navidson, A Former War Photographer, Is Coping With The Dual Nature Of His Trauma And His Inescapable Want To Go To And Capture Images Of The World’s Most Perilous Regions. Karen, On The Other Hand, Must Manage Her Claustrophobia In Ways That Are Much Worse Than She Ever Imagined. When Asked To Draw Their Home At School, Even Their Children Were Impacted By The House And Brought Home Pages Of Completely Blackened Paper.

I Sometimes Found Johnny Truant’s Portion Of The Story To Be A Little Less Compelling.
