“I’m Giving 6 Guarantee The Promises Will Be Implemented In First Cabinet Meet On 1st Day Of Govt Formation,” Said Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge.

As Per The Manifesto, Party’s Yuva Nidhi Initiative Will Provide A Monthly Allowance Of Rs 3,000 To Unemployed Graduates And Rs 1,500 To Unemployed Diploma Holders. The Shakti Scheme, Mentioned In The Manifesto, Will Provide Free Travel To All Women Throughout State In Regular Ksrtc/bmtc Buses.
“We Believe That Law And Constitution Is Sacrosanct And Can Not Be Violated By Individuals And Organisations Like Bajrang Dal, Pfi Or Others Promoting Enmity Or Hatred, Whether Among Majority Or Minority Communities. We Will Take Decisive Action As Per Law Including Imposing A Ban On Any Such Organisations,” Congress’ Manifesto Stated.
On Tuesday, Congress Unveiled Its Platform For The Forthcoming Karnataka Assembly Elections, Maintaining Their Emphasis On Providing Free Energy And Regular Allowances. The State Election Will Be Voted On On May 10 With The Results Announced Three Days Later.
In The Presence Of D K Shivakumar, The Head Of The State Unit, And Siddaramaiah, The Leader Of The Clp, Party President Mallikarjun Kharge Launched The Congress Manifesto For The Election In Bengaluru Under The Title “Sarva Janangada Shanthiya Thota” (Peaceful Garden Of All Communities). The Five Promises Made By The Congress Platform Were Gruha Jyothi, Gruha Lakshmi, Anna Bhagya, Yuva Nidhi, And Shakti.
“These Guarantees Will Definitely Be Implemented In The First Cabinet Meeting On The First Day Of The Government Formation,” Kharge Added In Reference To His Sixth Assurance.
The Five Main Promises Made By The Congress In Its Manifesto Are Rs 2000 Per Month For Every Woman Who Is The Head Of A Family, Free Bus Tickets For All Women, A Monthly Unemployment Benefit Of Rs 3000 For Graduates And Rs 1500 For Diploma Holders, 10 Kilogrammes Of Rice, And 200 Units Of Free Electricity For Homes.
Each Woman Who Is The Head Of The Household Would Get Rs 2,000 Under The Gruha Lakshmi Plan And The Shakti Scheme, Which Seeks To Give Free Transportation To All Women Across The State On Regular Ksrtc/bmtc Buses.
The Karnataka Bjp Administration Enacted Several “Unjust Laws And Anti-people” Measures, Which The Congress Campaigned On Repealing.
The Congress Reiterated Its Earlier Five “Guarantees” In Its Manifesto For The Karnataka Assembly Elections On May 2. It Also Pledged To Repeal All “Anti People And Unjust Laws” Passed By The Bjp Government Within A Year Of Taking Office, Scrap The National Education Policy (Nep), And Accept The Caste Census Report.
In The Presence Of The State Unit Chairman D.k. Shivakumar, Congress Legislature Party (Clp) Leader Siddaramaiah, And Others, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge Unveiled The Manifesto In Bengaluru With The Title “Sarva Janangada Shanthiya Thota” (Peaceful Garden Of All Communities).
The Party’s Pledges To Provide Power, Food Grains For Bpl Households, Gruha Jyothi (Electricity), Gruha Lakshmi (2,000 Per Month To Women Family Heads), Yuvanidhi (Unemployment Assistance), And Shakti (Free Passage For Women On State Buses) Are All Reaffirmed.
The Party Has Pledged To Spend 1.5 Lakh Crore Over The Next Five Years To Finish Unfinished Irrigation Projects In Karnataka, 1.5 Lakh Crore For Agricultural Modernization, And 50,000 Crore For Rural Infrastructure Development.
On The Pension Plan
While Pledging To Sympathetically Consider The Requests Of Public Servants Hired After 2006 For The Implementation Of The Old Pension Scheme, It Also Pledges To Bring A Transparent Tendering System To Important Departments Like Public Works. Irrigation, Urban Growth, Electricity, And Panchayat Raj.
The Nep Would Be Rejected, And A State Education Policy Would Be Established, According To Mallikarjun Kharge’s Platform, Which Was Made Public In Bengaluru Before Of The May 10 Elections. “Congress Will Reinstate The Genuine Ideals Of India And Karnataka, As Well As The Scientific Ethos In School Curricula. The Manifesto Claims That The Bjp Administration Has Corrupted Textbooks By Demeaning Basavanna And Kuvempu.
Reserving Matrix
The Party Pledged To Reinstate The 4% Reservation Quota For Muslims, Which The Bjp Administration Had Eliminated, While Announcing That The Reserve Quota Matrix Would Be Raised To 75% To Meet The Dreams Of Sc, St, Obc, And Minorities.
In Response To The Bjp Government’s Internal Reservation Matrix, The Congress Platform Promises That The Justice A.j. Sadashiva Commission’s Findings Would Be Discussed During The First Session Of The Legislature. We’ll Put The Caste Census Report Into Practise.
In Addition To Abolishing The Anti-farmer Legislation Imposed By The Bjp Administration, The Congress Said That It Will Overturn All “Unjust And Anti-people Laws” Passed By The Bjp Government Within A Year. Additionally, It Has Declared That All “Politically Motivated” Cases Involving Farmers Will Be Dropped.
Combating Hatred
“Aggressive Action Will Be Taken Against Those Who Incite Hate Among Groups Based On Caste And Community. According To Congress, Laws Are Inviolable And Cannot Be Broken By The Bajrang Dal Or Pfi.
The Congress Said That It Will Repeal The Modification To The Factories Act That Would Have Increased Working Hours From 8 To 12 Hours Per Day, Accusing The Bjp Administration Of Adopting Anti-labor Policies.
It Said That The Bjp’s Major Goal Was To Polarise People In Order To Gain Power. The Manifesto Said That Congress, On The Other Hand, Is Committed To Social Justice And Equitable Development, For Which A Budget Of 10,000 Crore Will Be Set Up For The Protection Of Houses Of Worship And The Care Of Minorities.
While Congress Already Made The “Guarantees” Of Gruhalakshmi, Anna Bhagya, Yuvanidhi, Shakthi, And Gruhajyothi, Which Would Be Implemented In The First Cabinet Meeting, The Party Also Made Promises In Its Manifesto That Were Specific To Certain Regions And Industries.
While The Party Has Promised All Local Bodies Specific Dates For Holding Elections, It Has Also Stated That Transport Workers Will Be Treated Equally With Government Employees. The Manifesto Said That The Wages Of Anganwadi And Mini Anganwadi Employees Would Be Increased To 15,000 And 10,000 Rupees, Respectively, And That Police Officers Assigned To Night Shifts Would Get A Supplementary Allowance Of 5,000 Rupees Per Month In Addition To An Additional Month’s Pay Each Year.
Regarding Farming
According To The Document, The Msp Would Be Determined Using The Agriculture Price Commission’s Recommendations, And Under The Ksheera Kranti Plan, Karnataka Will Be Required To Produce 1.5 Crore Litres Of Milk Per Day As A Goal. Additionally, It Promised To Increase The Farmer’s Financial Incentive From 5 To 7 Cents Per Litre. 12,000 Crore Will Be Invested Under The Matsya Kranthi Plan To Increase Income In The Blue Economy. Additionally, Congress Has Pledged To Finish The Yettinahole Irrigation Project Within Two Years Of Taking Office.
The Party Has Also Committed To Investing 5,000 Crores In The Tourist Industry And Establishing A Fund For Msme Development Totaling 1,009 Crores. The Party Has Also Pledged To Sponsor Scholarships Via The Karnataka State Educational Finance Corporation With A Seed Investment Of 2,000 Crore. Additionally, It Has Pledged To Fill All Open Positions With Teachers, Doctors, And Other Staff Members In The Departments Of Education And Health. The Party Will Also Try To Produce 5,000 Mw More Solar Energy.
The Congress Has Vowed To Establish A Gig Workers Welfare Board In Addition To Separate Boards For Car Drivers And Taxi Drivers Since A Growing Number Of Individuals Are Increasingly Reliant On Gig Labour. Hawking Zones Have Been Pledged In Every District, And Minimum Pay For Textile Workers Have Also Been Promised.
