Aron Beauregard Playground PDF Free Download, Playground by Aron Beauregard, Paperback.
Geraldine Borden Has Invited Three Low-income Families To Spend The Day With Her At Her Cliffside Mansion In Exchange For A Substantial Retainer.
The Only Thing The Parents Need To Do To Get The Remaining Money Is To Let Their Kids Use The Ground-breaking Playground Equipment Geraldine Has Been Developing For Years. The Buildings Under Her Mediaeval Castle, However, Have Taken So Long To Create Because They Were Never Intended To Be Visible From The Outside.
A Group Of Dysfunctional Kids Must Quickly Mature If They Are To Have A Hope Of Surviving As They Are Plunged Into A Devilish World Of Violence. Will They Be Able To Put Their Differences Aside Or Will The Pernicious Architecture Engulf Them All?
“Aron Beauregard Goes Beyond Himself In Playground, Producing A Really Unsettling, Unpleasant Book That Will Frighten Even The Most Hardened Horror Lover. A Breathless Read That Was Relentlessly Upsetting.”
Bryan Keene
There Are 15 Inside Pictures In This Book.
This Book Includes Graphic Material, So Be Aware. Readers Should Use Caution.
Because I Was So Nervous About Reading This Book, I Put It Off For A Very Long Time. The Thought Of Something As Horrible As What Occurs In This Book Occurring To My Own Two Sons Makes Me Physically Sick.
Having Stated That, I Made The Decision To Go For It. Everything I’ve Come To Anticipate From Aron’s Works Was There. Gory, Brutal, Terrifying, Heartbreaking (Tears Were Shed), Painful (Had Me Cringing Numerous Times), Disgusting (I Felt Sick During Several Parts), And Of Course, There Was Vindication.
His Characters Captivate You, Causing You To Really Care About Or Disapprove Of Them. As A Result, When Anything Happens To Them (For The Better Or Worse), You Experience Every Moment Of It As If You Actually Knew Them. Observing Cj Take Action, Donnie’s Tale And How He Took Action, Isaac’s Sacrifice, Geraldine’s Demise, Tom And Molly’s Destruction But Yet Being Able To Care For And About The Survivors, And Rock.
I Can’t Express In Words How Much I Enjoyed Seeing Rock’s Journey And How He Ended The Cycle Of Abuse. The Conclusion Was Both Bittersweet And As Joyous As It Could Be. I Consider It To Be One Of Aron’s Best Works Thus Far.
I Had Already Experimented With Severe Terror. Even Before This, I Had Read Books By Aron Beauregard. However, I Wasn’t Ready Yet. Naturally, I Was Aware Going In That The Majority Of These Youngsters Were Really Props For Mr. Beauregard’s Deranged Imagination.
Some Of Those Deaths, Though, Took Me Completely Off Guard, And I Flinched. I Will Confess That I Winced. Because I Adored Those Characters And Was Most Unprepared For It, I Winced.
Because Of How Effectively These Characters Were Created, I Lost Track That They Were In The Book I Was Reading. It Crushed My Heart To See All Of Their Effort, Suffering, Victory, And Desperation. And I’m Eager To Repeat The Process With A New Aron Beauregard Novel.
Guys, With His Most Recent Album, Playground, Aron Beauregard Succeeded Once More. This Insanely Creative Guy Has Written Four Books For Me, And I Have To Admit That This One Is My Favourite So Far! I’ll Start By Noting That This Book Is Unsuitable For You If You Can’t Handle Detailed Accounts Of Child Abuse Or Murder. However, If You Are Able To Read That Kind Of Material, Acquire It Right Away Since This Book Is Fantastic.
There Are Many People To Get To Know, And Beauregard Does An Excellent Job Of Developing Each One, But Naturally, Don’t Get Too Connected To Anybody. We Get To Know Rock Quite Quickly. He’s Led A Miserable Life Covered With Extravagance That Is Just Beyond His Grasp.
You Start To Feel Really Sorry For The Large Guy. Rock Has Been Given The Task Of Containing 9 Kids So They May Inspect The Playground.
He Is Assigned To Random Playgrounds Around The Country To Approach Parents And Inform Them Of This Incredible “Opportunity” While Dressed To The Nines. They Are Informed That In Addition To Receiving $3k, The Kids Will Get To Try Out A Brand-new, Cutting-edge Playground.
It Seems To Be Too Wonderful To Be True, Which It Obviously Is, But The Parents And Kids Don’t Realise This Until It’s Much Too Late.
I Won’t Disclose Too Much More About The Storyline Since He Does A Fantastic Job Setting The Scene For The Whole Narrative And, If I’m Being Really Honest, Had My Heart Pounding For Most Of It.
Even Though Certain Scenes Are So Graphic, I Was Always Interested In Learning What Occurred Next. The Writing Was Excellent. I Like How He Decided To Wrap Up The Novel. Chefs Embrace Friends, Read It Now!
Wow. Extreme Terror Is What They Mean When They Say It.
I Would Have Awarded Aaron Beauregard Five Stars Just For The Writing Alone. It Seemed As If You Were Really There And Experiencing These Events Firsthand. He Is A Really Talented Writer.
The Visual Was Accurate, And The Subject Matter Was As Gory As I Expected It To Be.
Not The Sights You’d Expect, But Some Of Them Gave Me The Nauseas.
Overall, I’d Suggest This To Real Aficionados Of Splatterpunk Horror, But Read The Trigger Warnings Beforehand. Expect The Worst, Fasten Your Seatbelt, And Hold On.
Aron Beauregard Doesn’t Let His Readers Down; He Keeps Horrifying And Thrilling Them.
The Reader Is Guided Through This Vile Story Of A Rich Lady With A Sadistic Appetite’s Elaborately Designed Candyland-from-hell.
The Novel Develops Like A Dream Inside A Nightmare As You Follow The Experience Of Three Families Who Learn That If Something Seems Too Wonderful To Be True, It Usually Is Murder. This Story Is Made Even More Vile By Familial Instability.
So, If You Often Visit Beauregard’s Thoughts, You’ll Be Astounded By The Steady Upswing Of His Unbridled, Savage Inventiveness.
Note From The Editor: The Playground Is An Extreme Horror Book Designed To Frighten And Disturb. The Focus Of The Story Is On Little Children Playing A Game Of Death. Due Of Its Visual Nature, The Cover Is Not Included.
Warning: Violent Sexual Material, Bad Language, Child Abuse, Violence Against Women, Violence Against Animals, Violence Against Children, Paedophilia, Violence Against Children, Brutality Against Animals, And Nazism.
The Background Of Roald Dahl’s Charlie And The Chocolate Factory Is One Of My Major Interests. Being That Dahl Wrote The Book After Losing His Little Daughter, It Is Essentially A Work Of Sadness. In His Initial Version Of The Narrative, There Were Ten Children, Nine Of Whom Would Suffer Horrifying Deaths In The Factory. This Included A Good Deal Of Pulverising That Was Detailed In Far More Detail Than Any Destiny Left Out Of The Book’s Ultimate Release Would Imply. You May Get A Fair Impression Of The Novel’s Original Tone And Style If You’ve Seen The Now-viral Footage Depicting Poor Veruca’s Fate In The Broadway Musical Version.
The Playground, A New Horror Book By Aron Beauregard, Is The Concept Taken To Its Farthest Degree. An Eccentric Millionaire’s Charity Invites Eight Kids And Their Families To Try Out A Brand-new, Cutting-edge Playground. She Will Base Her Decision On The Outcomes Of Her Test To Choose The Neighbourhood Where The Playground Will Really Be Built. What Follows Is A Complex Sequence Of Lethal Playground Traps Intended To Kill Any Kids Unlucky Enough To Come Across Them.
Geraldine Borden Is The Adversary. She Is Without A Doubt One Of The Most Repulsive Creatures I Have Come Across In My Decades Of Investigating Horror. The Old Billionaire Is Fixated On What She Lacks. Because She Was Unable To Have Her Own Child And Feels That Her Adoptive Son Is A Complete Failure, She Decides To Kill Other People’s Kids. No One Should Have A Kid If She Doesn’t. Since She Has No One To Love Her, She Compels Others Around Her To Indulge Her Ravenous Sexual Need. She Does It Herself In Her Enormous Estate With Everything She Wants Because No One Else Can Because She Can. No Man Or Boy Is Deserving Of Being Even Considered To Be A Successor To Her Money Since No Man Or Boy Ever Shown Interest In Her. The List Continues.
Because Of Her Hatred For Her Worthless Parents, She Has Perverted Her Thinking To See Torture And Death As Pleasurable. She Is Most Excited By The Thought Of A Youngster On Her Playground Being Denied A Future. Although It Is Improbable That Any Kid Would Live, She Does Have A Tender Spot And A Desire To Shape A Little Girl In Her Image. In The Same Style As Quentin P In Joyce Carol Oates’ Zombie Or Charlie Manx In Joe Hill’s N0s4a2, Borden Is A Heartless Antagonist; Really Dreadful Company.
Rock Stanley, Her Adoptive Son, Is An Unwitting Participant In Her Plot. After Being Adopted As A Youngster, He Was Almost Immediately Written Off As A Complete Failure In Life. He Was Subjected To Abhorrent Forms Of Abuse, Leaving Him A Shattered Man Sheltering A Kid Who Was Never Allowed To Mature. Geraldine Identifies Rock As Her Butler, Not Her Son, Since He Causes Her So Much Shame.
Rock Is Entrusted With Identifying The Ideal Family To Include In The Experiment. In His Nicest Suit, He Visits Parks And Approaches Desperate Parents, Offering Them The Opportunity To Make A Few Thousand Dollars In Return For Letting Their Kids Use The Playground. Even Though He Despises It, He Has To Choose Between Accepting New Families And Facing Criticism Or Rejecting Them And Risking Further Violence.
The Families Chosen For The Biggest Test Ever Reflect Several Parenting Polarities.
Caroline Clark And Her Small Son Donnie Are First In Line. He Is Denied Every Freedom. Even While He’s On The Swings, She Keeps Him Attached To A Leather Leash And Harness. The Youngster Can And Will Tumble Over If The Lead Is Tugged Too Long Or Too Firmly Since It Is So Short. Like Geraldine, Clark Is An Abusive Mom, But She Lacks The Tools To Effectively Hide Her Actions Against Her Kid.
Tom And Molly Grimley Come Next. They Are The Devoted Parents That Make An Effort To Raise Their Children Properly But Don’t Really Discipline Them. Their Kid Isaac Is Often Picked On By His Brothers And Classmates. He Reads Like A True Inside Child With Big Spectacles; I Can Identify. Sam And Sadie, His Sisters, Live Inseparably And Sam Would Do Everything For Sadie. This Includes Bullying Isaac And Obtaining Everything They Want From Their Parents. The Opportunity To Give Their Cherished Children A Memorable Day Out And Make Some Money Is Too Tempting To Pass Up For Tom And Molly, Who Are Suffering Since Tom Lost His Job.
Greg And Lacey Matthews Are The Last Pair. They Are The Exploitative, Living Off The Achievement Of Your Kids Kind Of Parents. Bobby Is The Eldest And His Sports-obsessed Parents Already See Him As A Lost Cause. He Enjoys Skateboarding More Than Actual Sports Like Baseball Or Football And Is Overweight. The Star Youngster With Unending Potential Is Kip. Whether He Wants It Or Not, Greg Will Turn Him Into A Star In The Mlb. Cj Is The Youngest, And His Parents Haven’t Yet Determined If He May Be Used For Exploitation.
The Matthews Family Has Only One Daughter, Tanya. She Is Supposed To Resemble Her Mother In Every Way. In Order For Her To Learn How To Be Alluring To Males And Develop Into The Ideal Wife And Mother Like Her, Lacey Wants Her To Be A Cheerleader. Tanya Doesn’t Want That. She Aspires To Swim Competitively, But Her Family Would Never Consider A Female A Sports Star.
In The Matthews Family, Any Kid Realising Their Own Goals Is Unimaginable. Either You Support The Parents Or You Don’t, And You Definitely Don’t Want To Be Against Them.
Before The Kids Ever Access The Playground, These Extremes In Parenting Cause Tense Disputes. The Remainder Is Handled By Geraldine’s Horrifying Schemes. These Parents Will Have To See Every Single Drop Of Blood As These Kids Suffer From Physical, Mental, And Emotional Harm.
Unquestionably, The Playground Is A Piece Of Tremendous Terror. Even Though The Children’s Fates Are Terrible, They Are Not Depicted In The Novel In Nearly As Much Depth As What Happens To The Adults. This Narrative May Be Told In An Effective Manner Without Exerting Undue Pressure On The Reader. Geraldine’s Cravings, Not Her Violent Inclinations, Are Kept For The Most Unnerving Moments And Details, And They Truly Test Your Boundaries.
Original Graphics By Anton Rosovsky Go With The Stories Told By Aron Beauregard. The Story’s Pivotal Episodes Are Shown In A Peculiar, Inky, Black And White Manner. These Are Not For The Weak-willed. The Drawings Give These Individuals’ Demise A Definite And Certain Ending. To Picture The Brutality And Tone It Down To Fit What You Can Handle In Certain Scenarios Is One Thing; To Really See The Moment Of Devastation Captured On The Page Is Quite Another. These Images Have A Finality That Sharpens The Knife Just A Little Bit More.
Give The Playground A Try If You Want To Encounter One Of The Original And Startling Dangerous Game Tales To Appear In Recent Memory. For A Horror Enthusiast, Geraldine’s Deranged Mind’s Reach Is Hard To Overcome.
