A Good Girl’s Guide Series PDF Free Download, Good Girl, Bad Blood: The Sequel To A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder Book By Holly Jackson PDF Free Download.
The Highly Anticipated Follow-up To The International Bestseller, A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder! The New York Times Bestselling Series With Over One Million Copies Sold! In This Compulsive True-crime-fueled Mystery, Additional Dark Secrets Are Revealed. Pip Is No Longer A Detective. She Released A True-crime Podcast About The Murder Case They Solved Together Last Year With Ravi Singh’s Assistance.
Even Though The Podcast Has Gained Popularity, Pip Insists That Her Days Of Investigation Are Over.
But When Someone She Knows Goes Missing, She Will Have To Break That Promise. On The Very Same Night That The Town Held A Memorial For The Six-year Anniversaries Of The Deaths Of Andie Bell And Sal Singh, Jamie Reynolds Vanished. The Police Won’t Take Any Action. Pip Will Search For Jamie If They Won’t, Learning More About The Sinister Secrets Of Her Town Along The Way. And Everyone Is Paying Attention This Time. Will She, However, Locate Him Before It’s Too Late?
The Author Of The A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder Series, Holly Jackson, Is The Top New York Times Best-selling Author. She Began Writing Stories When She Was A Little Child And Finished Her First (Poor) Novel Attempt When She Was Fifteen. Holly Received A Master’s In English From The University Of Nottingham, Where She Majored In Literary Linguistics And Creative Writing. She Likes To Pretend To Be A Detective By Playing Video Games And Watching True-crime Documentaries. Living In London Is She. @hojay92 Is Holly’s Handle On Twitter And Instagram.
As This Series’ Second Book Approaches, Pip Has Started A True Crime Podcast And Has No Plans To Resume Investigating Anything Ever Again In Light Of What Transpired The Last Time. But When Someone Close To Her Disappears, She Is Left With No Choice But To Investigate This Recently Discovered Mystery.
In My Opinion, I Loved This Book Even More Than I Did The First Section. Like Any Good Mystery Book, It Had A Surprising Ending And Kept Me Interested Until The Very End. I Was Devastated By The Outcome Even If I Hadn’t Anticipated Many Of The Events. I Was Surprised. I Had A Few Theories, But It’s Clear That Pippa Fitz-amobi Is A Better Detective Than I Am.
Also, A Special Mention To Ravi Singh, My Favourite Underappreciated Book Boyfriend! I Adored Pip And Ravi’s Banter In This Book. I Like That Even While It Isn’t The Book’s Standout Moment, You Can Still See How Their Relationship Develops In The Face Of All That Is Happening.
I Totally Adored This! I’m Eager To Read The Third And Last Book In This Series, Which Comes Highly Recommended… I Really Love This Series, Despite My Sadness That There Are Only 3 Books (And One Prequel) In It! I Have Grown To Love Holly Jackson A Lot.
A Good Girls Guide To Murder’s Sequel Is This. Pip Now Has A Popular True-crime Podcast About The Murder She Solved Last Year. However, Pip Loses Touch With Someone Close To Her, And She Goes Back Into Detective Mode To Track Down The Missing Person Since The Police Aren’t Taking Any Action.
Our Pip And Ravi Are Back With A Tonne Of New Adventures And Town Secrets. Pip Knew She Didn’t Have Much Time To Find That Person Before Anything Bad Occurs.
The Book Has A Lot More Secrets And Unexpected Stories Than The Last One Had, And You’ll Be Turning The Pages Quickly To See What Happens Next. I Continued Reading After I Had Read Halfway Through The Book And Kept Turning The Pages. The Conclusion Was Something I Had Never Anticipated! It’s Not What You Think It Is Because Woaaahhh It Was! I Even Shed A Few Tears While Reading A Mystery Book, Which Is Something I Never Expected To Do.
Overall, Even Though I Like The First Book More, This Was A Fantastic Sequel.
Jackson Has A Laser-like Concentration And Extraordinary Talent For Creating Intricately Planned, Intensely Compelling Mysteries. I Stayed Up Reading This One Till The Wee Hours Of The Morning, Anxiously Turning The Pages In An Effort To Reach The Great Finish.
This Series Has Excellent Writing. Jackson Pulled Me Back Into Pip’s Narrative With An Amazing Opening Line And A Deftly Constructed Synopsis Of The Events Of The Last Book. Little Kilton Creates Such A Fantastic Environment For These Kinds Of Tales, Blending A Traditional Christie Location With A Maze Of Hidden Information To Explore How Quickly Mob Mentality Can Alter And The Value Of Reputation.
Pip Is A Great Lead Character Since She Is Sarcastic, Intelligent, And Tenacious. She Fights Her Own Fears And The Increasing Strain Of The Public’s Constant Scrutiny Here. I Particularly Enjoyed How She Is Torn About Going Back Down The Perverse, Twisted Route Of Investigation And Is Conscious Of The Possible Repercussions Of Her Actions.
Even Though I Could Have Easily Chosen The Majority Of The Characters From My Own Sixth Form, It Simply Makes Her Seem That Much More Authentic. Jackson Never Treats Her Audience Like A Child; She Just Understands How Adolescents Think And Behave.
Regarding The Mystery, I Like The Way Jackson Masterfully Resolves Each Specific Mystery In Her Novels While Leaving The Door Open For A Second Book With Tantalising Crumbs And, Of Course, An Open Ending That Had Me On Edge. The Stunning Twists And Turns Carry An Apparently Straightforward Tale Down A Much Darker, Thought-provoking Road. The Investigation Of Guilt And Retribution Creates A Connection Between This Mystery And A Persistent Aspect Of The Case From The Previous Book.
Jackson Truly Explores These Issues Throughout The Narrative, Weaving A Sophisticated And Very Captivating Tale That Doesn’t Shy Away From Challenging, Depressing Subjects. I Shared Pip’s Wrath And Contempt Against The System She Held In Such High Regard, As Regrettably Many Other People Have Done In The Past And Still Do In Today’s Society.
A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder, Pip’s Highly Listened-to Podcast, Recounts The Events Of The First Book In Pip’s Own Words. Fans Want Her To Return For A Second Season, But Pip Maintains She’s Done With The Detective Game Since It Was Risky For Her Family. Currently Facing Trial For Drugging And Abusing Females At Parties Is Max Hastings. Now That The Matter Has Been Resolved And Mr. Ward Has Been Imprisoned, The Residents Of Little Kilton Arrange A Memorial Service For Sal And Andie.
Connor Arrives To Pip’s Door After The Memorial In A Very Disturbed State. He Claims That Jamie, His Brother, Is Gone, And He Needs Pip’s Assistance To Locate Him. Because Jamie Has Fled Previously And They Believe He Is Only Hiding Out Once Again, The Cops Refuse To Assist.
Pip Visits The Amersham Police Station To Try To Get Di Hawkins To Look Into The Situation More Thoroughly. He Refuses. Pip Gives Connor A Call And Offers To Accept The Case. Connor And His Mother Joanna Are Addressed By Pip. It’s Suspicious That Connor’s Father Won’t Cooperate With The Inquiry, But Joanna Claims He’s Simply Upset.
The Interviews Make It Clear That Jamie Had A Significant Infatuation On Nat (Who, By The Way, Is Seeing Someone), That He Often Quarrelled With His Father, And That He Vanished During The Memorial. Jamie’s Phone Had Likely Been Off Since At Least 12.30am When Joanna Attempted To Text Him, But The Message Was Returned As Undeliverable. Pip Attempts To Access Jamie’s Computer, But She Is Unable To Determine The Password. However, They Do Discover A Letter That Reads, “Hillary F. Weiseman Left 11,” Which At This Time Seems To Imply Nothing.
Pip And The Other Begin Posting Posters About Missing People. Pip Visits The Newspaper To See Stanley Forbes. He Exudes Anxiety. He Consents To Write Something About Jamie’s Disappearance In The Newspaper. Pip Visits Nat And Gets To Know Luke, Her Boyfriend. He Is Something Of A Knob. Nat Begins To Believe That Pip Is Looking Into Her. They Eject Pip After Luke Swears He Wasn’t At The Memorial (He Claims He Didn’t Leave The Home At All On Friday, Although Nat’s Look Could Suggest Otherwise). Gail Yardley Sends Pip A Picture Of Jamie Shot At 8.30 O’clock In The Evening.
Pip Deduces From All Of This That Jamie Must Have Been Preoccupied For The Duration Of The Intended Trip To Nat’s But Failed To Arrive. He Seems Tense Or Apprehensive In The Picture As Well. Cara Claims That She Believes She Saw Jamie At The Catastrophe Party, But She Was A Little Too Inebriated To Be Certain. This Is Strange Since Jamie Would Have Been 24 At The Time, Yet The Party Was For 18-year-olds. Pip Asks Her Buddies For The Host’s (Stephen’s) Phone Number. When Pip Asks Stephen Whether He Recalls Seeing Jamie At The Party, Stephen Replies That He Believes He Did So About 9 Or 10 O’clock.
Pip Requests Photographs From The Catastrophe Party In A Group Chat. They Begin To Be Sent By People. A Man By The Name Of George Informs Pip That At Approximately 10.30 P.m., He Saw Jamie At The Party, But That He Left Mumbling About A Kid Or Something. Some Snapchat Stories Have Proof That Jamie Attended The Party, According To Pip. At 9.56 P.m., She Determines That He Departed The Home.
At The Memorial, Pip Notices A Picture Of Max Hastings, And Ravi Is Naturally Distraught. Pip’s Mother Learns That He Is Looking Into Jamie’s Disappearance. Also Claiming To Know Something About Jamie Is Pip’s Mother. It Emerges Out That He Continued To Convince Joanna That He Was Employed By Pip’s Mother’s Agency. Not At All. He Was Let Go Because He Attempted To Use The Business Credit Card For…something.
This Daring And Very Captivating Sequel Has Suspenseful Layers That Build To Some Surprising Conclusions. Even While It Falls Short Of Matching The Brilliance Of Its Predecessor, It Still Has Some Of The Major Features, Including A Compelling, Well Plotted Story, Clever Literary Methods, And Unexpected Turns.
There Is Still A Lot Of Uniqueness To Be Discovered Even If The Events And Their Effects From The Previous Book Are Heavily Present In This Particular Narrative And Many Of Them Are Detailed Here For The Reader’s Benefit. This Time, The Emphasis Is On A Real-life Case, And There Is A Noticeable Shift In The Tone Of The Characters And The Story, Which Was Accomplished In Many Ways, Yet In Others I Was Left With Extremely Conflicted Emotions.
Pippa Fitz-amobi Has Transformed What Had Been Her Prolonged Project Into A Very Popular Podcast Series In A Few Short Weeks After Cracking The Supposedly Closed Case Of The Schoolgirl Andie Bell’s Murder In The Little Community Of Little Kilton. The Significant Toll That Inquiry Has Had On Her And Her Loved Ones Has Led Her To Argue That Her Days Of Solving Crimes Are Finished.
She Is Quickly Persuaded To Change Her Mind And Launch Both A New Season Of The Podcast And Her Own Investigation When Her Friend Connor’s Brother Jamie Mysteriously Disappears One Friday Night And The Police Fail To Give It A High Priority. After Speaking With Individuals Who Knew Jamie Well, She Learns That He Had Gone To A Party That Night And Had Been Corresponding With An Unknown Lady Online In The Weeks Before His Disappearance.
Pippa Learns Of Multiple Sightings Of Jamie On The Aforementioned Night And Is Able To Piece Together His Final Known Movements Thanks To Her Growing Celebrity And The Numerous Missing Posters She And Her Friends Put Up Across The Area. As It Turns Out, Her Mounting Rage At Having People Question Her Values Is The Only Thing That Might Prevent Her From Learning The Truth.
The Prologue Gives The Proceedings A Pleasant Start And Serves As A Good Reintroduction To The Narrative, But The Peace Does Not Last Long As Jamie’s Absence Is Immediately Brought Into The Forefront Of Our Attention. It Starts Off As A Mystery With Few Hints And A Few Intriguing But Difficult-to-follow Cues, Yet It Never Seems Like The Next Reveal Is Far Away. This Makes It A Very Compelling Read, As Does The Nagging Feeling That Certain People Know Much More Than They Are Letting On.
For A While, It Is Difficult To Understand Where The Narrative Is Going And What Might Make It More Memorable, But Then, Around Three-quarters Of The Way Through, It Takes A Dramatic Turn That Ties The Mystery Surrounding Jamie Into Something Much More Evil. It All Comes Together In A Twist That I Did Not Anticipate, Followed By Another That I Anticipated But Was Still Incredibly Powerful.
This Book Had A Distinct Dynamic From The Previous One Since It Was A Live Case That Also Had A Podcast Component. As A Result, Many Subjects Were Thoroughly Covered. There Are Also Subtle Insights On The Power Of Social Media As A Force For Both Good And Ill. A Lot Of This Was Focused On Pippa And How The Andie Bell Case Has Impacted Her Emotionally.
The Tale Is Once Again Told In A Hybrid Fashion, With The Usual Third Person Text Broken Up By Items Like Interview Transcripts, Online News Stories, Pictures, And Even A Fantastic Courtroom Skit. Unfortunately For Me, Pippa’s Case Notes, Which Were A Highlight Of The Last Book, Are Only Mentioned Occasionally This Time Around.
Another Minor Letdown Is That Several Of The Characters From The Previous Book Are Considerably Less Prominent In This One. Although Ravi Plays A Significant Role In The Plot, It Often Seemed As If All He Did Was Give Pippa Encouragement Or Maybe Make A Lighthearted Comment. Next Up Come Pippa’s Parents, Who Were Very Funny In A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder But Hardly Register This Time Around.
